The Challenge
A metropolitan borough council needed to electrify their fleet of 40+ vehicles as part of their Net Zero 2030 commitment. The depot had ageing electrical infrastructure, limited budget, and needed to maintain full fleet operations throughout the transition.
Our Solution
FusionTek delivered a phased electrification programme — upgrading the depot's electrical infrastructure, installing smart load-managed chargers to avoid costly grid upgrades, and providing 4 public-facing rapid chargers to generate revenue and serve residents. We managed the LEVI fund application, securing £85,000 in grant funding.
